Irena Radic.JPG

''Irena taught the piano to four of my children and made it exciting to learn. She is very clear in the word of her instruction but gentle and enthusiastic in her manner of delivery. My children ranged in ability from beginner to grade 8 when she came to us and all enjoyed her lessons and thrived under her guidance. We were lucky enough to get to see her perform in concert too! Her youth, experience and love of the instrument make her a super teacher.''  -  Laura Newland, Mother

Irena teaches a range of pupils from young children to adults. Also a concert pianist, she is an experienced performer as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral pianist. Irena is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, who is passionate about music and believes every student has potential.

As well as drawing on her experience as a performer, her teaching is inspired by her own teachers. Irena studied with Dina Parakhina, Niel Immelman and Lynette Stulting at the Royal College of Music, and begun learning with Jenny Macmillan from an early age, so her approach when working with children is inspired by the Suzuki method. She has had additional coaching from Cristina Ortiz, and has performed in public masterclasses with pianists such as Bruno Canino, Charles Owen, Eldar Nebolsin, Jura Margulis, Mikhail Voskresensky and Norma Fisher.

Irena teaches privately in West London and is a Visiting Music Teacher at St Catherine's School, Bramley. She also teaches online, so wherever you are in the world, as long as you have access to a piano and a good internet connection, you can enquire about lessons.
